Carbon Poker and Aced announced their new VIP program today. The most noticeable change is that the top tier that earns 45% rakeback will be eliminated. The highest rakeback tier will now be 35% rakeback, which is the same percentage that the eliminated rakeback program was. Other important changes include that all players will receive at least 8% rakeback. It took a minimum of $25 in the VIP program to receive anything before the change. Carbon Poker has assured players that the standard promotions will remain and that more promotions aimed at recreational players will be created in the future.

Please note that all VIP Points earned by rakeback players will expire on January 31st. If you wish to get value for these points, you MUST use them by this date.

There is still time to earn the 50 VIP points necessary to qualify for the Poker Maximus IV freeroll. Players must earn 50 VIP Points in January before the freeroll starts at 2pm ET on January 27th. The total prize pool is $25,000 in Poker Maximus IV tournament tickets.
